G Mor Now that it's been fleshed out and sequenced like a proper album, it's safe to say I adore this record and this band and they might be my favorite discovery of 2023. Runt makes aggressive, stompy, catchy af noise-rock anthems with a perfect sprinkling of electronics to keep things interesting -not that things ever get boring. This is the most refreshing take on the subgenre i've heard in years. If you get down with bands like Chat Pile and Godflesh, you're an absolute fool to sleep on the RUNT! Favorite track: Erode.

Lute FP First spin caught my attention, second spin caught my $5.

This could be a throwaway if you just listen to half a song. But if you let it roll, it is amazing. Take late period Tom Araya vocals gone hardcore, alternative metal, and industrial with actual melody, and maybe you still just have to listen to it to get an idea.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
