I'm really picky when it comes to metal vocals. This record works well because of the singing. Don't get me wrong, the guitars shred, the drummer is metal-perfect and the bass player thumps. But the contrast of the wailing and groaning vocals make this record stand out. kingmaxwell

A thick and enveloping guitar tone, gives this 7 tracker from Lithuania's finest doom duo a certain warmth. While the bellowing vocals on 'A Storm In The Hidden World' are potent highpoint, it's the bluesy stoner grooves on the likes of 'The Way' and 'No Brakes' that gives the most satisfaction. As does the grinding riffage on the title track. This slow, tempered version of heavy music may be a little primitive, but therein lies the charm of this LP Michael Henaghan
