Biography:

Dark Shaman is a Stoner/Doom Psych Rock trio from Sicily, Italy. A music project born from the mind of Seby Carrubba. Vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter. His brother Dario plays bass and a friend, Alberto, on the drums. With a vast catalog the three rockers give life to the tracks rehearsing many hours a day. The group give an esoteric dark doom style to the songs, in relation with the Rock influences of Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, Mephistofeles, Cream, Jimi Hendrix and more.

Dark Shaman will be in the studio through 2024 recording a new album at MK studios in Sicily, and on august 2023 release the first official videoclip taken from a song of the new EP, and the 4 tracks EP "Evil Ceremony". . The Italian trio has signed for Stoner Dealer Records (Mexican label) on October 2023 and in December to Forbidden Place Records (USA). The next step for the band is a tour through Europe and beyond as well as a vinyl release coming later next year.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁 Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks.
